Wii in Schools

Kids are now playing Wii and Wii sports in school to get them to get more engaged in learning and to improve coordination.  Who would have thought that during math class that kids would be bowling and counting the pins? I sure didn't.  Kids now play golf, baseball, tennis, and bowling to help with their counting skills.   Also one teacher created a a map and a globe for social studies, the teachers are deciding why not use something that the kids already understand to help them learn.

  1. This is a very interesting idea to incorporate a recreational game like this into learning. I think I totally like the idea. I will note this for when I start teaching.
